  Armageddon today? update by Terbear
With group saying things like, "The end of the world will soon be upon us! Yes, when the planets align, all hell will break loose! " and the depictations of the events of today shown in movies like End Of Days we begin to wonder of we are in the "end time(s)." Armageddon, is a battle which takes place at the end of a 7 year rule of a One World Government. According to the Bible this Government is headed by a Dictator, known by some as the Antichrist. This was to have happened on January 1, 2000. But event did not occur. What others are saying is that the near planetary alignment today will cause massive earthquakes, floods and other nasty weather events. Personally, I see no real danger because I see the physics involved. Gravitational strength is relate inverselyto the square of the distance between two object and since the distance from the planets are so far the gravitational changes here on earth will be miniscule.
